Biography

I was raised in rural Red River Parish, where I began my love for small-town people and living. I enjoy outdoor activities. I was raised in church and had a passion for people instilled at an early age. As I grew, I was led in to the direction of medicine. I excelled in high school and was accepted into LSU Medical School accelerated program to start immediately after graduation. I completed my undergraduate studies at LSU-S and then moved quickly into LSU Medical School. There I further developed my passion for patients and gravitated to Family Medicine. I attended the Family Medicine Residency Program after graduation from medical school and completed that in 2003. I moved to Winn Parish and set up private practice there, practicing > 20 years. I am married with 4 children. I attend and have become a Deacon at 1st Baptist Church in Winnfield. Faith and family, followed by my passion for patient care are the most important things in my life.
