Biography

Dr. Naseem A. Jaffrani, MD, FACC, FSCAI is an accomplished interventional cardiologist with decades of experience in cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, and clinical research. He currently practices with CHRISTUS Heart and Vascular Institute and serves as an interventional cardiology specialist affiliated with St. Francis Cabrini Hospital and Rapides Regional Medical Center in Central Louisiana.

Dr. Jaffrani specializes in advanced cardiovascular procedures including coronary and peripheral angiography, coronary and peripheral interventions, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, pacemaker insertion, and transesophageal echocardiography. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions in cardiovascular medicine while also contributing extensively to pharmaceutical and cardiovascular clinical research.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Jaffrani has participated in numerous national and international clinical trials involving cardiovascular disease, heart failure, diabetes, anticoagulation therapies, and COVID-19 treatment research. He has authored and co-authored multiple abstracts and publications in cardiology and cardiovascular pharmacology.
